Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our stretching and mobility education programs, enrollment process, course formats, and learning requirements.
Program Eligibility
Who can join the programs?
Programs are available for adults throughout Canada regardless of previous experience. The academy welcomes learners from all provinces and territories. Programs are designed to accommodate various experience levels, from complete beginners to individuals with existing flexibility knowledge seeking structured education. Age requirements specify participants must be 18 years or older.
Do I need stretching experience?
No prior stretching experience is required. Beginner-friendly educational programs are available and specifically designed for individuals new to flexibility training. The Stretching Foundations program begins with fundamental concepts and progressively builds understanding through structured modules. Participants with existing experience may choose more advanced programs aligned with their current knowledge level.
Are there any health restrictions?
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of engaging in movement-based education. The academy provides educational content only and does not offer medical advice. Individuals with existing health conditions, injuries, or physical limitations should consult appropriate healthcare professionals before beginning any flexibility or mobility program. Program materials include safety guidelines and educational best practices, but ultimate responsibility for personal health decisions rests with the participant.
Accessibility & Format
Are programs accessible throughout Canada?
Yes. All online educational programs are available nationwide. Participants from every province and territory in Canada can access course materials, live sessions, recorded modules, and downloadable resources. The academy's digital delivery model ensures consistent educational quality regardless of geographic location. Internet connectivity is the only technical requirement for participation.
What technology do I need to participate?
A stable internet connection and a device capable of streaming video content are required. Compatible devices include desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Programs are accessible through standard web browsers; no specialized software installation is necessary. For live interactive sessions, a webcam and microphone are recommended but not mandatory, as participants may choose to observe without video participation.
Can I access course materials after program completion?
Access duration varies by program. Most courses provide continued access to recorded modules and downloadable resources for 12 months following program completion. Specific access terms are outlined during enrollment. Extended access options may be available upon request. Live session recordings are typically retained for the duration of the access period.
Program Structure & Duration
How long are the programs?
Programs generally range from six to twelve weeks. Stretching Foundations runs 8 weeks, Mobility Essentials is 6 weeks, Daily Flexibility Program is 10 weeks, and Active Lifestyle Stretching is 12 weeks. Duration reflects the depth of educational content and the progressive structure of each curriculum. All programs accommodate self-paced learning within the stated timeframe.
What is the weekly time commitment?
Expected weekly commitment ranges from 3 to 5 hours, including video module viewing, practical assignments, reading materials, and optional live sessions. Actual time may vary based on individual learning pace and engagement with supplementary resources. Programs are designed to fit within typical adult schedules, with flexibility for participants managing work and personal responsibilities.
Are live sessions required?
Live sessions are encouraged but not mandatory. Recorded versions are provided for participants unable to attend scheduled times. Live participation offers real-time specialist interaction and peer learning opportunities. However, program completion and educational outcomes do not depend exclusively on live attendance. All essential content is available through recorded modules.
Equipment & Space
What equipment is required?
Most programs require minimal equipment. A yoga mat or comfortable surface is recommended. Some programs may suggest resistance bands, foam rollers, or stability balls, but alternatives using household items are provided. Equipment recommendations are outlined during enrollment. The academy emphasizes accessibility and avoids programs requiring expensive or specialized equipment.
How much space do I need?
A space approximately the size of a yoga mat is sufficient for most exercises. Participants should have enough room to extend arms and legs comfortably in all directions. Floor space is preferred for many stretching and mobility exercises, though some activities can be performed standing or using a chair for support. Adequate space ensures safe movement and proper form during practice.
Learning & Support
Are the courses educational?
Yes. All materials are designed exclusively for educational purposes. The academy provides knowledge-based learning focused on flexibility principles, mobility concepts, stretching techniques, and movement awareness. Programs teach underlying theory alongside practical application. Educational content is structured to build progressive understanding rather than simply prescribing exercise routines.
Can I contact support before enrolling?
Yes. Inquiries may be submitted through the contact page. The academy responds to questions about program suitability, content scope, enrollment process, and technical requirements. Prospective participants are encouraged to clarify questions before committing to enrollment. Response time is typically within 2 business days.
What kind of support is available during the program?
Educational support includes access to specialist guidance during scheduled sessions, email support for course-related questions, and discussion forums for peer interaction. Response times for email inquiries are typically 24-48 hours. Live sessions provide real-time opportunities for clarification. Support focuses on educational content understanding rather than personal health advice.
Enrollment & Policies
How do I enroll in a program?
Enrollment begins with submitting an inquiry through the contact page or completing the registration form on the specific program page. The academy reviews submissions and responds with enrollment instructions, payment details, and access information. Upon completing enrollment, participants receive login credentials and access to course materials. Enrollment confirmation is typically provided within 3 business days.
What is the refund policy?
Refund eligibility is limited to requests submitted within 7 days of enrollment and before accessing more than 20% of course materials. Refund terms are outlined in the Terms of Use. Processing time for approved refunds is typically 10-14 business days. No refunds are provided after the initial 7-day period or once significant course content has been accessed.
Can I transfer to a different program?
Program transfers may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis if requested within the first 14 days of enrollment and before completing more than 25% of the original program. Transfer requests must be submitted through the contact page with a written explanation. Approval is at the academy's discretion and depends on availability in the requested program.
Outcomes & Expectations
Are results guaranteed?
No. Individual experiences vary and no outcomes are guaranteed. The academy provides educational content and structured learning pathways, but results depend on participant engagement, consistency, individual physiology, and application of learned principles. Educational programs convey knowledge; actual flexibility development depends on personal practice and commitment beyond course enrollment.
Will I receive a certificate upon completion?
Participants who complete all program requirements receive a certificate of completion. Certificates confirm participation and module completion but do not constitute professional credentials or qualifications. They are intended as personal records of educational achievement and are not recognized as formal certifications by regulatory or professional bodies.
What happens after program completion?
Upon completion, participants retain access to course materials for the duration specified in the access policy. The academy encourages continued independent practice using learned principles. Alumni may enroll in additional programs at current rates. Ongoing community access or alumni groups are not currently offered, but participants may request updates about future program offerings.
